LOVE[D] this wonderful man, and 1st cousin to my late wife!! Byron was "an absolute joy and delight to be around" with the kind of "easy, calm and calming presence [that's hard to describe and rarely encountered in others observed over my 73 years on earth.] I miss him and love him, and all his wonderful/awesome/spiritual family!! Byron, back when we competed as track team mates, at Skyline HS, you were the guy we could rely on to go against all the super fast anchor legs for Roosevelt HS and S.O.C. HS. Remember one of Coach Ezar's Track Practices, where we all had to get carried off the track b/c our muscles locked up? You are one of a hand full of guys, in the entire world, who can you say, that you used to dust Michael Johnson in track practice daily and also at the weekly meets, at Sprague Stadium.

Mr. Byron was great man, always knows how to cheer a person up, and is there to listen and give his advice. Love working side by side with you. You will truly be miss.

Byron's passing surprised as well as "hurt me so!" I love you all, and all your wonderful family, dearly! God will see you all through this, as HE is truly the God of all comfort!! I can't make funeral, but I will be in contact with you shortly.
