Not sure what to say?

I never met Byron but recognized his vibrant face as the son of Lucille Rhett. She was my teachers aide for several years. What a lovely human being she was. It is no wonder Byron excelled in all areas of life as he did. She spoke of him often with such love and pride.

Dear Andrea & family. I just learned of Byron´s passing, I´m so sorry for your loss. Byron was such an amazing person and mentor to me at the SF Redevelopment Agency, I will be forever grateful. My sincere condolences. Chris Iglesias

Our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Mona, Adel, Pierre and Hala

I will always remember Byron´s sparkling eyes and hearty laugh, and now, some 30 years later and 3,000 miles away, sit here in New York, grateful for his friendship, and the days I spent together with him, James Orellana and Everett Shockley, missing him, and all of you, on the day we celebrate his life. My heart goes out to Andrea, Zane, and Justin, and the entire family, as well as his extended family, whether by blood or bond. He was an extraordinary exemplar of what it means to be human...

My deepest condolences. As a professional planner, the breadth/ quality/ legacy of his work is what anyone in the architecture/ planning realm would hope to leave---a truly worthy achievement. Byron´s diverse interests were always evident in our chats at Port and SPUR events/ meetings. He was a scholar and a gentleman; and will be missed. My sincere sympathy to the family, Howard Wong, AIA

any relation to a c.rhett from san mateo ?

I met Byron once, and I found him to be warm, softspoken, engaging and friendly. I particularly appreciated his willingness to indulge me in discussions on the sport of basketball and our team, the Golden State Warriors. It is truly an unimaginable loss. My condolences to spouse Andrea; sons Justin and Zane; and the entire family circle. I pray the comfort of God will encircle all of you at this most difficult time and hereafter. May his soul rest in peace.
