Byron passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Byron was a resident of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania at the time of his passing. Byron was a 1958 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. Immediately after graduation he joined the U.S. Army and served as part of the Army Corps of Engineers. While part of the Corps of Engineers, he served tours of duty in both Korea and Greenland which earned him numerous letters of commendation and citations. He was married to Cynthia Baisley. A Viewing will be held on Wednesday January 11th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with funeral services following at 1 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA. Reverend Mark Osborn of the Bridge of Hope Ministries in Candor, NY will be officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery Tunkhannock. Byron and his brothers were always at my home growing up. I remember those Monopoly games on my mother's dining room table that went on for months -----What great memories. RIP Byron, dear friend.
