Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Steele: u and i started in 1971 when i was 7 and i was with u for 7 yrs. I'll never 4get u & Mr. Steele. Luv Alway

Dear Tina,
I was so sorry to hear about Byron. I choreographed some of your shows. I will never forget the times that I worked with you both. I remember Byron saying to me, (I can work with you). That was such a nice complement because he was a task master and I do miss working with such strong people. It made me to always want the best people can give, so I will always treasure the times that I worked with you both. God Bless and may his soul rest in peace.

My name will forever be linked with Byron Steele and dear Tina. I started with Byron in September of 1964 and was literally his first student - thank God! I had to fulfill a credit obligation at Trenton State College(get it out of the way) and went to this and that one for a voice class - no room at the inn. Actually they didn't want to bother with me(thank God, the Blessed Mother, and all the saints again!). So I went to the "new guy" on the block - Mr. Steele. What a fateful move that was....

Dearest Mrs. Steele,
What a sad day for me and the musical community. Byron was a singular light. You and he were the inspiration and foundation for many singers and musicians who own their success and love of the art in large part to what they learned under your tutelage. May God bless and strengthen you in this time of sorrow.

Dear Mrs. Steele,

My deepest sympathy to you for your loss of Mr. Steele. He was a fine man who I highly admired and respected.

Du bist wie eine Blume, so hold und schön und rein.../ Ah, sweet as any flower and fair and pure thou art...
by Robert Schumann. This is the first song Mr. Steele taught me when I began to study with the two of you.

There were many songs and lessons to follow. I cherish opportunities you made for me to participate in events at the Artist...

Dear Tina,
So sorry to hear of Byron's passing. What a hoot to meet him years after college across the street from my house at DVHA. So many memories, shows, operas, parties....he will be missed.

Tina,

I cant think about a single show I love with out that memory involving you and Byron. My family always thought well of Byron. I was lucky to be involved in 3 productions of the King and I with you. Byron will be missed. My prayers are with you.

Mrs. Steele - I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Steele. You two always amazed and inspired me! (I still wish I knew where you both got your energy!!!) I'll always remember my first couple of years of voice lessons at the house on Princeton Pike and then at the beautiful studio near Washington's Crossing, after you moved there. Those gorgeous horses made it hard to concentrate sometimes! (I think I took lessons from you guys from 1981-1990. I started as a freshman at Notre Dame HS, and...

Tina,

I was very saddened to hear about Byron's passing. I have many fond memories of working and studying with you both. I often tell the story of "AIDA" at the Open Air Theatre when Byron rented Mignon the baby elephant. He will be missed. Be well and know that you are in our prayers.
