Byron was a ray of sunshine--always a new joke. I'll always remember the one where how you knew a blonde was using your computer because of the wite-Out on the monitor.

Byron was a bright spot in this world. He introduced me to "blonde" jokes when he stopped by my office in the Lake George school. I attended their wedding on Wilkerson Pass. I knew Susan before Byron. They were a great couple. I just learned of his passing--so sorry.

I was so sad to hear about Byron and his passing away and not being able to say goodbye. I just found out about his illness on friday of last week. I have worked with Byron for over 25+ years. He was an awesome help on my neuro microscopes at a hospital in Utah. He was so kind and knowledgeable on the scopes and readibly available. We had an awesome working relationship and am so greatful to have been his friend. I cannot say enough good things about him and will miss him terribly. God...

Byron was a cool guy. I will always remember his generosity and his knowledge of a diverse array of things. My first time on the Arkansas river rafting was with Byron and sons on one of his rafts. A select few excursions followed, always fun and educational experiences with Byron.

To my amazing sister and her beautiful sons: You have lost a dedicated husband and father. For this I am mournful. I take solace in the realization that Byron could not have been surrounded by a more loving, comforting, and dedicated group of angels. One could live in peace knowing he or she may be similarly surrounded. Love, Patrick
