Not sure what to say?

A man of integrity that leaves behind a legacy of positive community contributions and will surely be missed. Our sincerest condolences.

As a customer of the marina for many years,I got to know Vern pretty well on th e outside. He was always friendly and joking with me.He helped me considerably with my handicapped wife. I will miss Vern a lot. May he Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear this, Bonnie. Sending our sincere condolences to you and the family. There are so many good memories of Vern and you from my childhood - the time spent at your house, the marina, the chicken barbecues, swimming in the lake (and ice skating), hanging out with Vern's parents and the boat displays at the fair. More recently, my husband and I would run into him at car shows. He was always smiling and friendly. He will be missed by family, friends and the community.
