Not sure what to say?

I am a 1987 MBA graduate. Merle was one of my favorite professors and helped me when I made a decision to accept a job at Eli Lilly. I've heard lots of good stories over the years. Best wishes, Roland Bydlon

Dear Mary Ann and family: I was sorry to learn of Merle's death; my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Merle was a wonderful professor during my MBA days and then became a great friend, while I was a member of the Michigan Business School community. He will be missed. Sincerely, Peggy Carroll

Mary Ann, we send our deepest sympathy to you at this very sad time. May the love of family and friends sustain you, plus all the great memories that will never leave you! God Bless and Peace be with you and your family. Linda and Bill Powers

You have my deepest condolence, may God draw close as you draw close to him at this difficult time.

We remember with great fondness our across the street neighbor. Merle was a kind and thoughtful gentleman. We know his family treasured his humor and spontaneity. May God bless them with peace.
Fondly, Katie and Duane Renken

Merle was a pleasure to know and serve with in the Kiwanis Club. He always had a smile and was very helpful as my mentor in announcing the Saturday Sales. He will missed very much.

I was sad to hear about the passing of Merle. He was such a good friend. I am glad I visited with him at this past summer Past President's picnic. Then I got the news letter with the link to a meeting where Merle gave an economic forecast. I must have been presiding on that day and introduced Merle....well sort of. I sat and watched that video and it brought back all those good memories of Merle and all the rest of my Ann Arbor Kiwanis friends. Photo: 1975 S.A. Bell Ringing with Dr....

When I would talk with my mom and dad, they'd often talk about Merle and Mary Ann -- and celebrating your anniversaries together.

My sympathies to your whole family.

Mary Ann and family: Sue and I offer our condolences on your loss of a great man. We have been blessed to have known Merle. Your family is in our prayers. Max and Sue Supica
