Not sure what to say?

Wayne and family, im so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. He was quite a character, he always tickled with some of the stories he would tell. When daddy was sick he would always come to the house to cut his hair and I always appreciated that. He was such a good man and had a beautiful spirit. He will be missed. God love you and rest in peace. My prayers are with all of you.

So sorry for your loss. God Bless.

I remember Wilbur as a young kid when he would cut all my hair off,I loved listening to him play his guitar,he was a great man.

Wayne and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. He was a good man with a great story to tell and something to gripe about (usually involving Wayne). He will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Anne Turnage - Orlando, Florida

I have memories of him, my Dad (Henry Stephens)and Luther Howard sitting around playing and singing. Praying for your family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My Uncle Robert, Wilber and I would sit around and they would tell stories and he would get the fiddle out and we would sing. He gave Uncle Robert his last hair cut before he died. He was a great man and amazing musician. Every time I see a tube of Neosporin I think of him.

Wilbur was a good guy. He and I would talk while he cut my youngest brothers hair, he always took a lot of time with him because he has Downs Syndrome. My prayers are with your family at this most difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Wilbur's home going. I had not been in touch with the Duke fam since I left Caldwell parish in the late "60s" until he built a beautiful home in Calhoun and became my neighbor..He was a joy to talk to & we all loved the wonderful gardens he grown and love seeing the old tractors & fire truck that was our home Parish in La...so sorry I can not be in state to attain his service..but will remember you all in pray ...God Bless.
