Send FlowersOur beloved husband and father Jess died October 26, 2009 at Skagit Valley Hospital after a brief, intense illness.
Jess was born May 7, 1934 in Bellingham, WA to Clarence Lyman and Sina Florence Groesbeck. He is survived by his loving wife, Silvia Groesbeck and their sons, George, John & David Groesbeck. He is also survived by children Rebecca, Mary, David, Jennifer, Hilea. He is also survived by brothers, Jerry and Larry Groesbeck. Furthermore he is survived by numerous cousins, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and other family. Preceding Jess in death were his parents, his wife Sharon Wilde Groesbeck and brother Terry Groesbeck.
Jess was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a young man Jess served his Mission in Guatemala and remained active in church issues in Guatemala all of his life and met his wife, Silvia, while touring the country once again.
Burial at Enterprise Cemetery, Ferndale, WA Friday, October 30th at 11:00AM and Memorial Service at the Church of Latter Day Saints, 1700 Hazel Street, Mount Vernon, Saturday, October 31st at 11:00AM. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity in Jess's name.
