It's a shocking to hear the pass away of Mr Herr ! As a Caregiver who lived and care for Mr Herr for 3 years in his residence at stone edge! I learnt so much from him ! His resilience! Self dependent and heart of giving ! Shaped my way of life as an African who migrated to United States seeking for a better life! May his soul rest in heaven & his good deed on earth be a blessing to all his children & grandchildren! Rest in Heaven! Mr Charles R Herr

To each of you, Ryman's children and beyond, I am beyond saddened by the news of his passing. He was my dad's best friend, and the last time I saw him was at my dad's funeral. Your dad was one of the rare ones, and I always enjoyed talking with him over the many decades. There were few subjects he was unfamiliar with. I wish him a gentle journey, peace and serenity to you and your families. I hope my dad and yours meet again on the next level.

Lorraine /Lolo I can only imagine the ebb and flow of your emotions. Your dad was no doubt profoundly proud of his family. They ( well my dad) say the greatest accomplishment for a parent is to witness the positive friendships their children enjoy. You have many. He was truly a beacon for each of you. I enjoyed many stories of your dad and the tremendous influence he had on you. RIP - God Speed JK

My condolences to the whole family - we met him a couple of times at family gatherings and of course at Michael and Lorraine´s wedding at his house and a couple of times in Chicago at the Beinhauer parties.
