Dear Ann and family,
A few years have passed since I visited you and Gummie at Blue Jay Ct. in Lacey. My fondest memories of Gummie were coming to your beautiful, scenic place at Port Ludlow that summer and Gummie showing us his gallery and workshop where he created all the garden art from bits of things from the shoreline. We proudly placed our Driftwood art in our garden. Hope Ginny and I can locate you and drop in for a visit. Life has put a few twists in my life, but we know we...

"Spirited" best describes Gummie, so, as always, he is in his element. What a wonderful man. The Republican Party never was and never will be better than it was with him at the helm. Dear Ann, we will forever remember the wonderful times we shared at your home at Pt. Ludlow and at other FWHS PC gatherings. Katie and I hope to visit with you soon. Gummie blessed you and his children with wonderful memories of a life well lived. I'm sure you all will find comfort there.

I was so sad to learn of Gummie's recent passing. I found it interesting that I have been thinking about Gummie and Ann for the last few weeks and the ways in which our paths crossed when they lived in Port Ludlow what now seems like many years ago...and made a note to myself to get in touch with them, to send them a card, to say hello and tell them both how much I appreciated knowing them.
