C. Palmer PACKARD

It was my honor and privilege to serve with Palmer on the Studio City Park Advisory Board for over ten years. His dedication to the Studio City community, our immediate neighborhood, and Studio City Park was significant. His commitment, and the many hours that he gladly volunteered his time to the benefit of the community has enhanced the lives of 1.000s of families, many -- sadly -- who never knew of the man who created the recreational opportunities they were enjoying.

Had many great tennis tournaments with Palmer on his visits to Excelsior, MN with his sister's (Mary Packard Emmer) husband Jim Emmer - he was a great inpiration to keep me focused and interested in Tennis and a fun loving Uncle - will miss his positive enthusiasm and encouragement in the film arts.
