I experienced the joy of George's mentorship and experience here at University of Arizona, which I joined as a junior faculty member. The comfort and knowledge he provided me when I was stumped with a case or clinical situation are both gifts from him I will treasure for the rest of my career, and attempt to come close to emulating.

I worked with Dr. Ray at Saint Louis University and remember him fondly, often quoting his witty sayings. He was a very special man with a very special spirit and I am a better person for having known him.
