Not sure what to say?

Dr. Ray was truly one of the best physicians I have worked with in Tucson. He was a thoughtful and caring doctor whose patients always received excellent care.

I experienced the joy of George's mentorship and experience here at University of Arizona, which I joined as a junior faculty member. The comfort and knowledge he provided me when I was stumped with a case or clinical situation are both gifts from him I will treasure for the rest of my career, and attempt to come close to emulating.

His greatest gift was to his patients and students. Many children are alive today because of his caring and knowledge, either provided personally or through his teaching.

I worked with Dr. Ray at Saint Louis University and remember him fondly, often quoting his witty sayings. He was a very special man with a very special spirit and I am a better person for having known him.
