Not sure what to say?

Perry was my Sunday School teacher at Dawson and he had become a good friend. He will always have a special place in my heart. He is truly being missed by our class. In the last few weeks we have all shared stories in class on how he touched our lives and gave encouragement to us all. He was a great inspiration and a fine Christian man.

Perry was a kind and caring man. He was a leader with the Quin/Relfe Sunday School class at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. Perry was always prepared for each class and included class members in each session. He brought our class members closer to each other. We miss Perry.

I went to Glen Iris and Ramsay with
Perry. Even as kid he was mature,
thoughtful and hard working. Everybody liked him. I was lucky to get to talk with him at the Ramsay reunion. My sympathy to his family on the loss of such a special person.

I would like to let all of you know that Perry was strong believer in the Lord Jesus, and he was very kind with all of us from the Sunday School class. He always enjoyed the prayers that the Lord Jesus helped me to do in the class on Sundays.

I am missing him very much, as all of us from our Sunday School class are missing him.

I pray that all of you that are reading this book will get close to "Our God" because without him there is not HOPE in this...

I've known the Relfe family since my family moved to 16th Avenue South in 1950. We lived on the corner and the Relfes lived at the other end of our block. I was a few months shy of five, Massey was probably about 10 and Perry six. Their sister Margaret came along about a year after we moved there. I have such fond memories of their whole family--the three children and their parents, Evelyn and Julien. Only a few years after we moved to our house, their great Aunt Ola Tomme moved in...

Perry was my Sunday School teacher and my friend. He was a kind and compassionate man. He encouraged me, and he laughed with me. He was a wonderful person. Perry lived every day in the peace and love of Jesus, and he is with Him now. I am so thankful that I knew Perry, I miss him, and I will never forget him.

As the Sunday School class director, I worked closely with Perry over the past two years. His Christian love for the class and the lessons that he taught each week came from the heart and he will be missed very much by all of us.
