Dear Ed, I am so sorry I was unable to attend the services for your Father. He sounds like a wonderful man, friend, and Father. This is proven in the accomplishments and character that you possess. My deepest sympathy. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely,

Dear Ed, I am so sorry I was unable to attend the services for your Father. He sounds like a wonderful man, friend and father. This is proven in the accomplishments and fine character that you possess. Please know you are in my thoughts. Sincerely,

My husband and I are members of Hillcrest. We never knew Mr. Stanford by name but knew him as the Roll Tide greeter. We always looked forward to him greeting us at the door of Hillcrest each Sunday morning with a warm hand shake or hug and hearty Roll Tide during football season. His service in his church was a blessing to us & his warm welcome will be missed. May God bless & bring comfort to the family.

Ed: My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your father. We know that deth of the physical body isn't the end of life but the birth into the spiritual realm. Prayers to you and yours during this time of great loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with God.

May this world be a better place because of his love and dedication to God and his sharing of the Gospel with others. May you rest in God's arms. Alene Mathews and family.

Dear Stanford family, We are sorry to hear of Ed's passing. He tried hard in everything he attempted to make things better for other folks. He was well liked, respected and came to be a good friend and colleague of my Husband Mr. Jim C. Bailey. To Cookie and Ed Junior, it's hard to deal with but you are both strong, Keep that Chin up pointed toward heaven and think of the good times. Mrs Patsy Bailey
