My husband and I are members of Hillcrest. We never knew Mr. Stanford by name but knew him as the Roll Tide greeter. We always looked forward to him greeting us at the door of Hillcrest each Sunday morning with a warm hand shake or hug and hearty Roll Tide during football season. His service in his church was a blessing to us & his warm welcome will be missed. May God bless & bring comfort to the family.

He was well liked, respected and came to be a good friend and colleague of my Husband Mr. Jim C. Bailey.
