We were saddened to learn of Hiram's passing. He was a special man-one of God's best works! Charlotte, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the honor of knowing and working with Hiram during my career with Stuart C. Irby Co. He was a dedicated, honest businessman and a true Christian. My prayers are with the family. Our State and Nation are better today because God allowed Hiram to come our way.

We are sad to learn of the death of Hiram. When we moved to Grenada in 1974 he was one of the first people I met. Hiram was the division manager for MP&L and we had purchased radio station WRIL ( WQXB), a large user of electric power. I remember when I met him that he was easy to talk with, was very courteous and extremely knowledgeable of his profession.
