Blair C. Stephen "Steve" Blair, 68, of London, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 29, 2012, 2:39 PM at the OSU Medical Center. Steve was born February 14, 1944 in Ashland, Ohio, a son of Charles D. and Faith (Stambaugh) Blair. He was an avid collector of insulators. Along with his wife Lois, he hosted the Mid Ohio Insulator show for 42 years. He was a member of the Montadale Sheep Association and was a longtime 4H advisor in Madison County. He was retired from Ameritech after 30 years. He participated in in a mission trip to Bolivia, South America. Steve is survived by his: Wife: Lois (Farley) Blair; Sons: Mike Blair of Richardson, Texas; Scott Blair of Mount Sterling; Christopher Blair of London; Sisters: Nancy (Richard) Kurtz of Granville; Georgia (Kerry) Fout of London; Brother: Tim (Debbie) Blair of North Carolina; nieces and nephews and many friends. Steve was preceded in death by: his parents. A Celebration of Steve's life will be held at the Rader-Lynch And Dodds Funeral Home And Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London, Tuesday, December 4, 2012, 3:00 PM., with Reverend Stanley Strode officiating. A dinner for family and friends will follow at the Newport United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made in Steve's memory to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
