Dr. C. Melvin Foreman

I don't know of anyone I have admired more than Mel Foreman; such a good natured, kindhearted, and thoughtful friend. When you spoke to him, he had the rare quality of making you feel that he was not only pleased to see you, but was genuinely interested in you and what you had to say. I will always remember him with much fondness and with the utmost respect and admiration.

I met Mel (AKA Dr. Foreman) when I was a student. His kind spirit and wise counsel have been with me ever since. Mel was a magnifcent man. He will be be missed, but he is with us forever. Thank you, Mel.

Mel Forman was a gentle, kind, spiritual man who meant so much to all of us whose lives he touched. We spent some wonderful times with him at Yale University that I will never forget.

I first met Mel at LAPC when I was a high school student. We crossed paths again at SPC when I was a student and later as a fellow faculty member. He was a great role model, a mentor, and friend. I'll miss his wise counsel.
