The Rev. Dr. C. Mackey Daniels, Pastor of the West Chestnut Street Baptist Church, Louisville, Kentucky for over 40 years, made his transition from grace to glory on Sunday, May 13, 2018 peacefully. Rev. Daniels was the former Vice chair of JCPS, 1st black Arbitrator to the courts of Jefferson County KY Bar Association and also a KY Colonel, and former President of PNBC, Inc. He leaves to carry on his legacy one daughter, DeAnna; four sons, Charles Mackey, Aldrin, Reuben and Zebadiah; 3 grandchildren. Visitation: 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at West Chestnut Street Baptist Church, 1725 W. Chestnut St. Funeral: 11am Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the church, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to A. D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St.
