I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Medders was a great man and a living testimony to what a real family man should be. My memories will always be good ones of our days in East Gadsden. God bless your family during this time.

My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Medders family. I had known Mr. Medders for years. My father Reggie Arledge, and my mother Debbie knew him as well. He was such a blessing. He offered so much to the Gadsden area. He truly cared about all people. I pray that God in His Infinite Wisdom comfort the family, and those who he touched through his loving devotion for others. I am so sorry for your loss. I have such great memories of you, Mr. Nelson, and Chuck. I remember when you were brave enough to let me "run" the cash register in your store! This is a great loss but Heaven gained an angel and he is up there with Dad singing very loudly. I wish I could be there but know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you always.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of your father. He was truly a great man and had such an influence on the entire Gadsden and surrounding community. Every sporting year started with a trip to see him. I am praying for you guys. Tommy Urban

Dear Family,
I was very saddened to read about the passing of Coach Medders. I played for Coach Medders during the 1969 football season. What a great season we had and I learned so much from the Coach. I still have my team photograph that brings me a lot of memories. I will remember those few months for as long as I live. Your loss is great, but I know that the love and peace of our Heavenly Father will bring you comfort.
