I met Mike in 1975. I was a new attorney in Santa Clara County and Mike was already one of the deans of the trial bar. He, along with his partners Ralph Mendell and John Fitzsimmons, were great mentors to me. Whenever Mike and I would meet in court, a deposition, or on the street in San Jose, he would offer me a word of encouragement and ask me how I was doing. I am very sorry to hear of this loss, Mike was my attorney along with Ralph Mendell in the late 1970's, in a very sensitive, emotional case for me, he was kind, thoughtful, understanding and I was so glad to read of his wonderfully long, happy, rich, fulfilled life, wishing his family peace in the knowledge of the wonderful man they had in their family.
