Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Charlies passing . A friend of mine from Grenelefe days and always fun to play golf with and always made everyone feel at home . My condolences to Karen and all of Charlies family.

I loved Charlie Watterson and I wasn't alone. He was a kind, sweet and caring man to all he knew. I had the unique perspective of knowing Charlie as a friend for over 40 years and as an employer for 10. Charlie was Charlie. No airs, no affectation. He treated everyone the same, no matter their status. Charlie cast a bright light that, while now dimmer, will never be extinguished. We will miss him deeply.

I had the privilege of meeting Charlie at our apartment community in USC. Our first interactions left lasting memories, I will remember his laugh and wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed. Thinking of you Karen and your family in this difficult time.

Charlie was one of the best men I have ever known. He loved his wife and family so much. He was such a good friend to me. It saddens my heart to know that he has left us physically but I know that he will always be watching over those that he loved. I will miss you Charlie....

My father in law was the greatest man in the world. He loved, accepted and treated me as one of his own. My heart will forever have a void but the memories will remain a lifetime. May your soul forever Rest In Peace ! Forever greatful to have had you in my life, Lisa Watterson ❤

To many he was Charlie - to us he was "CLIFFORD". My wife went to high School with him and I met Clifford in 1959. Had great fun with him as a vendor to USS where I was in Purchasing dept.
New Years party at our first house lead to the birth of 4 kids all in the same month - Jimmy. Marianne, Kimmie and Joey - kids to 4 college friends.
We live in Phoenix for almost 50 years but thought of Clifford and kids many times.
Our thoughts to his extended family !

Charlie was such a great guy. Always laughing, a big personality, a keen businessman, and a generous friend to many. He will be sorely missed. Thank you Charlie, in particular, for being such a great friend to my Mom. My condolences to the Watterson family.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I have fond memories of Charlie, you and your Dad during the Little League days in Brookline those many years ago. Best wishes.
