Claire and I are grieved to learn of Freddie's passing. Yet so many fond memories of him, his raucous laughter, his sharp wit and his staunch friendship over these many years will always be remembered.
After all, it was Freddie who gave me the nickname "Black Cloud", an appellation I cherished when it came from him... Smooth sailing old comrade...
