Cady was a vibrant, sweet and wonderful young lady. I had the pleasure of working with her at TLC for some time. It saddens me to know that such a lovely girl left us so early. I will never forget her smile and laughs at my dumb jokes. Rest in peace Cady, you will always be remembered. Much love, Chuck

I first met Cady at a grief workshop at Stanford in 2006--her mother had just passed, just as my father had the summer before. I remember her work through the Stanford Peace of Mind project, through which she was strong and still struggled and yet was still strong.
I learned recently that Cady means "little warrior", and that she was, a little warrior. Cady I will miss you. May your spirit and strength live on.

Dearest Jim, Martha, & Andrew – Your memorial for Cady was lovely. Over the years, I've often mulled over the meaning of the word "grace" yet rarely have come up with a suitable definition. However, watching you each navigate this impossibly heart-breaking event in your own way, especially your collective ability to cherish the good moments with Cady while acknowledging her challenges is truly grace-in-action. I am in awe of your humor, love, courage and open-heartedness at this time.
