You may or may not remember me. Our families were friends back in the 50s. I remember visiting you and your family at your house in Brentwood when I was a kid. My parents were Jack and Mildred Colletti. I found your Dad online a few years ago when he was still a Senator. I contacted him and he wrote a very nice letter back. Dad - today is your 2nd anniversary in heaven. It feels like yesterday that you passed. Time goes by so fast. You and Mom are always in my thoughts and prayers and always will be. Sometimes time gets away with me so before I forgot. I wanted to take the time to say tomorrow will be your second anniversary in heaven. Its so hard to believe that still. Joey recently did a report on tou in civics class with power point (thanks to this report i had to learn how to do PP) of course he got an A and everyone was in awe over you and your life and career and our family. It was hard to be in that class and listen to that report and see that PP without shedding a tear. Funny that...

Dad - This Thursday is your first anniversary in Heaven. Time has gone by so quickly but I still miss seeing you around the house and doing things together with you. In 1992, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, there was absolutely no awaremess of breast cancer in Suffolk County. Without Senator Trunzo's unending support, many women would not have benefited if it not had been for his complete and total dedication. It was my honor and pleasure to have worked with him for all those years.

My deepest sympathy to the Trunzo Family. Senator Trunzo was an amazing man, it always floored me that he never forgot a name! One of my fondest memories is going to the Trunzo house for the best trick or treating candy. God Bless.
