I knew Cale and the Smith family bc of dating his brother, Jay many moons ago. Cale was part of a wonderful time in my life. He was smart and funny. I still have memories of him that make me laugh out loud. My sincerest condolences to Jay, Jan, Matt, Hayley and Rocco.

Dear Smith Family, Our hearts break for you. I know how much you all loved Cale and what an important person he was in your family. He loved and mentored "Blue" aka Rocco and loved him fiercely. I wish I didn´t know a mother´s loss of a child but I do. Nothing can heal that broken heart but as time goes on the great memories will push much of the sadness deeper. Until then know that you are all loved and thought of more than you´ll ever know. Jovette and Lasse

I met Cale when he was a Quality Assurance Analyst and I had been with Progressive for only a few years. I could see he had talent well beyond his current role and I was so proud to see him eventually progress into management. Cale was funny and seemed to love learning, and his friends. I remember seeing him out one night with a bunch of his high school friends and it seemed like they were family to him. I haven't seen him in many years but I hope that family continued to surround him during...

Cale was my neighbor, he was extremely nice to my boys! They often went down to play basketball in the backyard with him or catch up front. He also allowed they to come down and play whenever they wanted, even when he was away. He was the first to introduce himself to us when we moved on the street. May you RIP.

Mr. Nackley I just wanted to take a moment to say Thank You for your kind words about my brother. It means ALOT to me that you took the time to share your memories of him and that you cared enough to do that. You were a great teacher to me and an awesome coach to my brother I know we both remembered you fondly!

Pound for pound, in the history of Wickliffe football one of the toughest football players ever. Played defensive tackle at about no more than 150 lbs. Was injured his senior year and we weren´t the same team without him. I loved him. My deepest condolences to his family. May he rest in PEACE!!! Coach Greg Nackley
