Not sure what to say?

Hello Rev Steve and I were looking over at your church since it has been sitting and Steve was recalling all of his fond memories of you and him from eating breakfast together when he was just a child to reading books together and in later years just conversations.you marrying us .I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to have married us.you had such charm anda beautiful smile. . You are surely missed here .

Hello Rev. Steve and I were going over old memories from when he was a youngster spending time with you whether it was a breakfast or reading a book while you prepared your sermon. Or just a joking fun talk. Also when you married us so many years later. You will always be in our hearts . You are still very much missed.

During my childhood and teenage age years, I attended Bethany Baptist Church. Those were some blessed years. It was a church where you not only learned about God, but you learned about family, community, and involvement. Rev. Oates and and many members of Bethany Baptist Church were and will be role models for me. My condolences to the Oates Family, Bethany Baptist Church and the Farmingdale Community. In His Name, T. Marks (Lancaster, Cal.)

How good God is to grace us with such heroes of faith.

Rev. Lenny Liebmann
Red Bank Community Church

To my former high school classmate, Ruby, please know that our hearts go out to you and we will continue to pray for you and others of your family over the days to come. God is your strength and He is able to keep your heart in all situations, even in the loss of a loved one.

To Cheryl and family:
I remember being young and always being welcomed into your grandparent's home and Church. Those were some good memories. So sorry for your loss.
