Not sure what to say?

We still miss him bunches! A great and loyal friend.

I was a schoolmate of Caleb (nickname "Whitty") at San Rafael Military 1940-1945. His artistic talent was apparent in the fourth grade

The Memorial service for Whit was beautiful. I think after they folded the flag and then played taps there wasn't a dry eye in the place. I was lucky enough not only to know Whit but to work with him as well. We always had a good laugh about every thing. He enjoyed life to the fullest. My prayers go out to Barbi,Will and the rest of the family. God Bless him!

My favorite artist and friend has passed, his jovial spirit and tough resolve was admirable. He loved and laughed with friends of class, who knew they were in the presence of a very special fellow... He rooted for me, and I for him, like a couple of good shipmates. Our loss is tempered by the privilege of his friendship.

I knew Caleb from 1941 to 1945 at San Rafael Military Academy, when he was in the 5th grade through the 8th. I was two grades behind and looked up to him as a mentor. He made Master Sergeant in 1945 and I made Master Sergeant in 1947. A few years ago I caught up with him by e-mail, but he was busy finishing paintings for the St. Francis Yacht Club. My heart goes out to his family for the loss. He was a really nice guy.
