Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry for your loss

So sorry to hear of your loss. Your mother was an outstanding woman for sure; but we already knew that as evidenced by her amazing children. While I didn't know her personally, I am forever indebted to her for all of her dedicated work at The George Washington University Athletics Department - you see, one of my daughters received a fabulous education at GWU as a scholarship volleyball player -- this would not have happened but for the efforts of your mother so many years ago. Your family...

The Collier Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. What a vibrant woman she was, and a blessing to all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting:
The Soul that rises with us, our life's Star,
Hath had elsewhere its setting,
And cometh from afar:
Not in entire forgetfulness,
And not in utter nakedness,
But trailing clouds of glory do we come
From God, who is our home

She was quite an accomplished individual indeed! A great person to have met and known a little, and one her children have tremendous pride in having as their Mother, but also having as their Best Friend and greatest "Cheerleader". "May God Bleth" her and all her Family! CHEERS to her long, wonderful, and humor filled" life!!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Peace be with you all.

Joanne,
What a beautiful and memorable tribute you wrote for your mom. My deepest sympathy to you and to all her family. She is now comforted by God's grace and peace. Love, Jackie

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, but know that she is dancing with angels. Certainly, your mother's DNA of "somewhere between a firecracker and a pistol" lives on in you, Joanne!
