Calvin Applegate

Calvin E. Applegate of Whiting, NJ. Passed away at home  on Monday August 21, 2023. He was 82 years old. Cal was born in Long Branch and raised in Oakhurst, NJ. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. Cal was retired from Stavola Construction Company in Tinton Falls. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish in Whiting. 
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law,  Barbara and Larry Olinsky; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cheryl; grandsons, Jack , Alex , Aiden and brother David Applegate. 
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday Aug. 29,2023 10:30 am.  St. Mary's Church, Deal. Interment immediately following Mass. Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Neptune NJ.
