The memories of Cal playing with cousin Joe Haywood, sister and brother Ramona and Gari come flooding back. Cal's parents and Randy were always special and we enjoyed the reunions so much. I spoke to Cal on November 19 and, as usual, we had a good conversation. He was a good and gracious person. God bless you and your mother, Brett.

Cal met Gary Johnson when they worked together at Wilcox Electric and Gary later became Cal's tax accountant. Gary and I met in 1982 and were companions for the next 30 years. Gary passed away in 2013 and Cal attended Gary's funeral. I enjoyed Cal immensely and have often wondered about him. Was saddened to learn of his recent passing.
