Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear about Cal but I will always have fond memories of the time we spent together on the Board and Membership Committee at the Country Club of Charleston. I considered Cal to be my mentor and to be the consummate gentleman. A person to emulate.

My condolences to Calvin, Becky, Beth, and Mrs. East, with fond memories of Mr. East's warm hospitality on my many visits with Cal to your home during bygone high school days. Sincerely,

My deepest sympathy, Beth Kathy Krause

So sorry for you Illabet for loosing your Dad. He was quite the hero and the whole world will feel his passing. May you feel the comfort of a proud Father who is watching from above. Blessings,

Condolences, prayers and thoughts go out to the entire East family.

I was sorry to read that Cal passed away. A true gentleman indeed. I know mom and dad enjoyed getting together with Cal and Joyce way back when... Condolences to all in the East family from the Cady family.

Deepest sympathies, Beth. Fathers are so special.

Cal hired me at NCR in 1966 fresh out of Vanderbilt and I have always appreciated the opportunity he gave me. I went on to a wonderful career in systems design all because of his support. He was always a gentleman and easy to work for. I am a native of St Louis and go back occasionally. I am reminded of him when I go by that classic NCR building in Ladue. Cal will be missed by all that knew him. My sympathies are with your family.
