Dear Mrs. Gates and Family, I was saddened to read of the passing of Mr. Calvin. He was a kind gentleman. Mr. Calvin loved the City of Gary and would help anyone in need. He became my friend during my first campaign as Judge. Our friendship was one of respect and a shared commitment to the betterment of Gary.
