One year ago today, we called and wished you a very "Happy Veteran's Day." That was the last time that we spoke. Today, we know you can hear us and we are wishing you a very "Happy Veteran's Day." We will always remember you and love you.

As one of the most genteel gentlemen we have ever known, the imprint Goose has made on our lives, the love and genuine caring for all mankind, the permanent smile and the joy in his heart will never be forgotten. We will miss him dearly. Dave & Paula (Vern's sister)

Dear Donna and Family,
Cal was a good man, his family and friends know that. He had a work ethic at St. Odilia Church that made us proud to be his coworker.
Sympathy and condolence.

I only came to know Cal casually when I joined the Cactus Mariners a number of years ago. But I learned quickly that he was a prince of a man who was never without a smile on his face and a strong handshake to even a casual acquaintance. I'm so sorry to hear about his passing.
