Saw Cal last at the Tendercare in Portage early last year. Both our mothers' were there for rehabilitation after a stroke. I introduced him to the rest of my family. He seemed to be be in great spirits then. I didn't find out about his illness until this winter. I'm going to miss his jokes and race car stories and his general nonsense. My sympathies to all his family.
