Not sure what to say?

Uncle Calvin was a great mentor. I had the chance to interview him for my graduation project on our family history. He will truly be missed. I know he's up in heaven with the rest of the family. Love ya fam.

I love you and miss you. Love you always, Jaimee

Your patriarch, Calvin Parker was a pillar of the black community of Scranton, Penna. I personally remember him from as early as four or five years old when I would come to visit my aunt, Mrs. Helen Brown. I associate him with Bethel AME Church in much the same way as I do, Reverend Burgette, or Mrs. Green. His commitment to the church and community enabled us all to thrive when life was very different for most black folks living in this...

To our family, Uncle Calvin was a great man and will be truly missed. Take comfort in knowing that he is "home" and at peace with Our Heavenly Father. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Kevin and family,

I was so very sorry to learn of your father's passing. Kevin, I didn't know your dad, but if he was anything like you ... he was a wonderful man. Your family was blessed to have had him with you all of these years. May God give you strength in your time of grief.

To the parker family, I wish to give you my condolences to all of you, your Dad, Grandfather,Uncle was a very intelligent, graceious man who will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers and blessings go out to all the family and freinds who had the oppurtunity to share his love of family and the glory of his wisdom and love.

Uncle Calvin was a wonderful man. Growing up, he was always there for us. I will cherish his memory, forever. Take comfort in knowing that you were a special part of a well-lived and well-loved life. Let the many happy memories you have of him help to sustain you. Take care of each and continue to lean on the Lord in your time of need. Be blessed always.

Eric, I am sorry for the loss of your grandfather. I know how much he meant to you and Alison and the kids. He was a great man.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
