Calvin S. Phillips

Cal was a dear friend, fellow autistic and a very loving and kind man. I think of him often because he was one of my favorite people. Someone I didn’t have any secrets from because I could talk to Cal about everything and I knew he’d never gossip. I miss him very much. I love him still and always.

Calvin, as the Anniversary of your passing is here, I am reminded of how many times you've come to mind since your passing... your sweet smile, soft spoken manner, Kindhearted self will always be what I remember the most... When I saw this, Cal, I couldn't believe it. I had just seen you not too long ago and you were helping another person, in usual form, with your same sweet smile you wore so well. When you saw me you gave me your, Usual smile and wave and asked me how I was doing! Your warmth and kindness was just part of your Loving heart that made you the warm Beaming Light of Love that You were to so many who needed it just at the right time. It's difficult for me to believe that someone who's done so much...

R.i.p you were a great guy.

He was such an amazing person. He talked about you all as the greatest joys in his life. He was really proud of both his kids and their loving family's. and was proud to call his ex-wife a great friend too. I am so sorry I won't be able to make the services. I could say a thousand nice things about him. But the most amazing to me was the dignity and grace he displayed dealing with his illness. I would see him sometimes when we both worked at Baystate, sitting on a bench outside and he once...

Cal was a dear friend and confidant and I'm very heartbroken right now just having learned of his passing. He will be missed by so many that he has helped along in their journey of life.

May his family find comfort and peace. I really loved this man, he and I shared so much and I won't ever forget how he was always there for me and understood me better than most.
