Calvin Eugene Rodgers, 64, of Lepanto died February 25, 2021 in Lepanto. He was a handyman, farm hand and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Lepanto. Mr. Rodgers was born January 3, 1957 in Memphis, TN to Walter and Josiephine McClain Rodgers. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Lakeya Shantell Rodgers, two brothers Walter Madlock and Leroy Madlock, two sisters Rosie Turner and Cora Mae Holliman. He is survived by his wife Louvenia Rodgers of Lepanto, one son Calvin Jamal Rodgers of Jonesboro, two brothers Arthur Madlock, Sr. of Chicago, IL and Wilson (Florine) Rodgers of Kalamazoo, MI, three sisters Ruby (Earl) Moore of Vienna, IL, Azzie (Kenny) Jackson of Pasadena, CA and Lillie Mae Benson of Monrovia, CA. Visitation will be Friday, March 5, 2021 from 10 AM to 12 PM with the funeral at 12:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Pine Rest Cemetery in Lepanto with Pastor Larrie C. Bell, Sr. officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
