We have known Calvin and Betty through their son David and his wife Marilen and the Rodriguez family. It was tough this past year with the passing of Betty and Cal dealing with Parkinson's but they are both reunited in heaven now with no more pain. May they intercede for the entire Rodriguez, Brauer, and Link families with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Gary and Julie Gorton

Cal was my principal when I taught at La Mesa Dale. He was a leader, an educator, and a friend. His support, smile and good humor always brightened my days and I feel fortunate to have been able to know him.

Cal was a wonderful friend and mentor. I worked with him(as a parent volunteer) for 10 years while my children attended Murdock Elementary. I will never forget his warm smile and soft voice. He was really just a wonderful person. A man who will never be forgotten.
