Not sure what to say?

This makes me very sad to hear of Mr. Smith's passing. He was instrumental in dressing me from age 15 to when he closed John Tryon shop. I have missed him and have wondered where he gone. I did not know about his moving to Ark. I am glad he was with family he loved. He always was such a "gentle" man and made a lasting impression on me. I am so sorry for your loss, and it grieves me that I did not know how to reach out to him over the years.

He was a life long friend of my father Allen Garfield and I knew him all my life. He worked along side me at my family's jewelry store for a while, we had so many enjoyable conversations and he made each day pass by with jokes and stories! He was a terrific salesman and a very loyal friend. He will be missed greatly. Sending thoughts and prayers from the Garfield family.
