Not sure what to say?

Calvin! They say time cures all and maybe so, but it's been twelve years and you are still strong in my thoughts. One thing I surely know, there's no rest for you in heaven, only love, peace, happiness, along with lots of praise, worship and experiencing a joy with Lord Jesus, that's second to none. See you when I get there! Mel Goldy Davis

Today with a sad heart,"I honor the last child that my mother had," my brother Calvin. That saying was a joke that Calvin and I had. He did not want me to say, my baby brother, so I found another way to indicate that he was the baby of my siblings. My mother's baby, as she always called him.
The last and entire week that we were together, he mentioned that joke and saying, to our cousin Leroy and we all laughed. I thank God for that last week that he gave us to be together and realized...

I have traveled the world and met hundreds of people, but you Calvin, stand among the dearest. There are not enough words in any language, that can express my appreciation and thankfulness of having you as a wonderful friend, ( like a brother ), over these past decades. It is people like you, who make life worth living...Though you are now with God, I will cherish the memories of you, while I am here on planet earth, with the expectations of seeing you again, when I enter the golden gates of...

Farwell to a dear classmate. My prayer's are with the family as you deal with your loss. Please know that God makes no mistakes, He saw that Calvin was needed in His Kingdom. Blessings,

The memories of your athletic skills, Calvin, are in place . . . that you were three-four years younger than many of us was of neglible consequence, for in the parlance of the day: you had game.

All the while, as your classmates, your friends have voiced, haved penned, doing the aforementioned in such a humble manner. Self-touting was never you. You simply, yet resolutely
were a prince of a friend.

Thus, to the Sneed family, may the enduring balm, out from prayer,...

Uncle Calvin you will be missed. I am so thankful to God that you and I had an opportunity to see each other and speak just days before you were called home. I KNOW where your heart and spirit was, and I walked out of your apartment that night feeling great! Now I know that for sure you are protected. Please watch over me and may God and his Angels protect you. You will never be forgotten.

Your Nephew.

TO THE SNEED FAMILY;
NOW THIS WAS THE NICEST GUY YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW. GENTLE SPIRIT AND KIND WAYS. I KNOW HE WILL BE MISSED BECAUSE HE WAS LOVED BY SO MANY. REST IN PEACE CALVIN.YES, REST IN PEACE, MY BROTHER IN CHRIST.

I was a classmate of Calvin's and was very sorry to hear of his passing. We haven't seen each other for years now, but I remember him as being a kind and humble person at Huntington. He will be truly missed. May the family find comfort in knowing that he now rests with God. May God bless you and give you comfort during this difficult time.
