Reed & Benoit Funeral Home Inc. - Watertown Obituary

It is with deepest sorrow that we share with you the news of the passing of our beloved son, Cameron Michael Gianconna, who left us far too soon at the age of 16.

Cameron was tragically involved in a car accident on October 24, 2024, creating an irreplaceable void in our lives.

Cameron shined brighter than any star. He was cherished by his family and friends alike. As a valued student of Watertown High School, he created unforgettable memories with his friends and classmates. His enthusiasm for football was only rivaled by his love for gaming, where he often found happiness immersed in any one of his favorite consoles at home.

He is survived by his devoted father, Dominick; his caring mother, Sarita; his two brothers, Nicholas and MySun; and his sister, Makayla. He is also survived by his two grandmothers, Debra Rawls of Whitesboro, NY and Linda Patterson of Garner, North Carolina; two uncles, Joseph and Gregory, both of North Carolina; and his loving cousins, Autumn, Quentin, and Teressa, all of North Carolina; and Joey and Haylee of Ohio.

Cameron’s radiant smile and lively spirit will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though words may fall short in conveying our grief, we will try to find solace in the treasured memories that we hold so dear. Cameron’s legacy of love and friendship will continue to illuminate our lives, even on our darkest days.

A visitation to honor Cameron’s life and the joy he brought to all of us will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 3-5 PM at Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.

Arrangements are with Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Inc. and condolences may be made online at www.reedbenoit.com.

In loving memory of Cameron Michael Gianconna,

Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss.

I'm sorry I can't make it to the funeral, it has been a very tough year so far because I lost a friend a month before him

He was the best friend that I could ask for, he made me laugh when I was down. He was the best lab partner when me and my other lab partners would do labs and he was without my other partners. He made me feel welcome when because I just transfered to watertown. For the one month we were friends, was probally the best month of my life. I'm very sorry for your loss.

So so sorry for your loss.

I lost my youngest son last year through no fault of his own. My heart sincerely breaks for your family. This is truly the hardest thing to ever endure. Sending you all my love, prayers and hugs.
