While on a recent trip to Boston I came across a tiny plastic bag that had a small stone with a penny attached to it. Inside the baggie was a note that said, " Army SPC Cameron K. Payne . Died 11, June 2007 (22) Hometown: Corona CA USA. Facebook Group: Service Stones". I located the group on facebook and posted a picture of his stone in the 2007 album. Today, on this 7th anniversary of the loss of Spc. Cameron Payne, I would like to pay tribute to and honor him, in gratitude for his sacrifices made on behalf of our Nation. May we never forget. Rest in peace, soldier.
