Not sure what to say?

Camille and I shared an office when I began my career at DOL. She was the most organized and logical person I have ever met. I have often thought about Camille in the years since she left DOL and wondered what it would have meant for ECAB if she had stayed. She will always remain in my thoughts.

Dear Acevedo Family,

I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss. Camille was one of my first office mates at my first job (with DOL) out of law school. She was so smart, and ready to help all. Camille was an invaluable fountain of information. I always joked that our office should have a revolving door, because everyone always came to ask her opinion on cases. She truly taught me how to do my first job. I will always remember she with fondness and gratitude. My thoughts and...

Camille was a wonderful woman who I got to know when she was at DOL. I have very fond memories of Camille and am saddened to hear of her passing. My deepest condolences to her family. Karen Kracov

To the Beebe and Acevedo Families, I am so sorry to hear of Camille's passing. I worked with her at DOL-ECAB. She had a beautiful spirit and loving personality. She was also brilliant! We still cite to many of her cases. ;-) May she rest in peace and may you be comforted in knowing that she was well liked, well loved, and highly respected. God Bless! Valerie Evans-Harrell

I'm heartbroken to learn of Camille's death. She was HUD's voice of peace. On the most difficult policy issues, she brought together disparate perspectives and then gracefully helped us find common ground. Her memory will be a blessing to all who knew her.

I was deeply saddened to hear that Camille Acevedo had passed. In addition to being a well respected member of HUD's Office of General Counsel, Camille was a kind and considerate person, always willing to help during my years at HUD. Though I retired from HUD many years ago, our paths continued to cross at various agency milestone events and Camille was always as lovely and gracious as I remembered her. I was honored to know her. May loving prayers and fond memories sustain her family...

We are greatly saddened to learn of Camille's passing. We were good friends with Camille, Dean and Nelda over 40 years ago in Austin. Our heartfelt condolences to Dean and Nelda.

Offering comforting words to the family and loved ones. Keep looking to God for strength. Keep drawing close to him. - 1 Samuel 30:6. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I have had the pleasure of working with Camille for 15 years at HUD. I admired her integrity for accuracy and professionalism. I was always greeted with a welcoming smile and an infectious sense of optimism.
I will never forget her and will pray that her next journey will have a positive affect on the other angels in heaven.
