Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, Inc. - Perkasie Obituary

Camille A. Clemens, of Perkasie, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center – Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA.  She was 50.

She was the loving wife of Matthew L. Clemens.  The couple would have celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary on June 25, 2022.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she was the daughter of Megan (Woolcock) Mahchung, who resides in Miami-Dade, FL.  She was a 1989 graduate of Christopher Dock High School, Towamencin Twp., PA.  She went on to graduate from Millersville University, Millersville, PA with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy.  She also graduated from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA in 1998 with Masters Degree in Education.

Camille worked as an elementary school teacher at Guth Elementary, in the Pennridge School District, Perkasie, PA for the past 11 years.  She loved teaching all grades but most of all enjoyed teaching the kindergarten class. Prior to teaching, she worked as a Respiratory Therapist for Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.

She was a member of Calvary Church, Souderton and was also involved in a Women’s bible study at First Baptist Church of Perkasie.  She volunteered in the Calvary church nursery for many years and later on began serving meals, along with her children, to people in need at the Revivals Outreach Center, Perkasie.

In her spare time she enjoyed reading, puzzles, riding bikes, taking walks, gardening and spending time with her family.  An avid sports fan, she especially loved NFL football.  She had just attended her first NFL game, watching the New York Giants vs the Dallas Cowboys.

Surviving with her husband and mother are three children, Brandon, L. Clemens, Madelyn J. Clemens and Wade N. Clemens, all of Perkasie and her in-laws, Sidney and Sharon Clemens, of Green Lane, PA.

Her memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Calvary Church, Souderton, (Main Auditorium), 820 Route 113, Souderton, PA, where family and friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.  Masks will be required.  Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Revivals Outreach Center, 4 S. Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA  18944.

My deepest condolences to the family

My condolences to the family. May her soul Rip.

Matt,
we’re so sorry to hear about your loss of Camille.
You and your wonderful family are in our thoughts.

Magan I'm so sorry for your lost, Bernadette your stitching buddy.

So well do we remember her time at Penn View Christian School teaching kindergarten. She added her cheer and joy with her students and colleagues.

Camille's laugh will never be forgotten, let alone her spirit, her strength, her kindness, and her love for others. What an incredible neighbor, colleague, and friend she was to me and my family. Words can't express my sadness for Matt, Brandon, Madelyn, and Wade. We are praying for you, hurting for you, and hoping for you. May there be peace in the coming days as you go through this season of grief. I hope you can find comfort knowing that she is at Home in Heaven. Love to you all, the...

Praying for your family and thankful knowing Camille is home with her Lord. Matt you have been a true example of Christ’s love as you cared Camille so faithfully.

Brandon, Maddie, and Wade,
Your mother was a warm and wonderful person who loved you very much! There was never a time that I spoke with her that she didn’t mention how proud she was of each of you. She knew, as I do, that you are kind and loving people. I know you will continue to live in a way that would make her proud. If there is ever anything I can do to help or support you, you know where to find me!
With love, Mrs. Plumley
