Campbell M. Wade Jr.

Cam Wade will be missed. He was always fun to be around. I interacted with him a number of times but especially during the searches for sites for the VLBA antennas and the EVLA Phase 2 antennas. The latter, unfortunately, were not funded. I have attached a photo of Cam and Frazer Owen taken near Silver City during one of the EVLA2 site search trips. I regret that I will not be able to make the service as I will be traveling on a long planned trip.

We had the good fortune to spend some time with Cam and Marcia. Cam was such a kind and gentle man with good stories to tell. He was a gifted scientist who contributed much to the radio astronomy field. He will be sorely missed.

Dear Marcia, What a fine man and delightful companion Cam was. It has been a privilege to know him. I wish you two had had lots more time together. So glad you found each other and had such a loving, fun marriage. We will miss him. Love, Sarah
