Not sure what to say?

Still remember what a special person Candace was. So thankful to have known her.

Still think about Candace. She was a very special person.

I think of Candace often especially in times when life's challenges require mustering strength. Nobody I've ever known was as tough as steel like her but so warm and soft at the very same time. You've left such a positive legacy for us all Candace!

Just knowing her, watching her in action as a fellow ovarian cancer survivor, taught so many of us how to stay the course of the disease. As I look back while fighting back tears, tears pouring out on my keyboard, I think now more than ever, I realize the impact she had on my and many other cancer survivors. In addition to the standard treatment of surgery and chemotherapy, optimism is the key to survival. Candace's positive attitude set an example for all of us following in her footsteps....

If only we could all be as brave, loving, and fun as Candace. ---

Candace, a remarkable woman. If only there were more like you --- blessed with the energy of a turbine and tough as tanned leather. I was blessed to see your good side --- quick to smile and laugh, an open heart, and a great listener. I join many, many others who were blessed by knowing and loving you. --- John Tidyman

Candace was one of my favorite people! She will be missed by so many of us over here at Metro. You are all in my prayers. Sue McCoy

Candace, you are in my heart and prayers. Thank you for all that you did for older adults and the Greater Cleveland community. You will be missed. My condolences to your family.

Candace, you are the strongest woman I ever met. God bless your family in this difficult time and may they find comfort in your memories and traditions for years to come. Rest in peace my friend and forever young!
Your MetroHealth Friend, Tina Stevens
