I met Candy through our friend Roberta Sweet on one of her visits to Scotland when we spent a memorable day together, visiting Mary Queen of Scots Falkland Palace in Fife. Falkland was where part of the Outlanders drama was filmed, we didn't know this of course and when a local gentleman told us Candy was absolutely thrilled, I remember getting lost on the way home, Candy got her phone out and discovered we were actually on the right road, the three of us couldn't stop laughing.
