Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to learn just yesterday of the passing of Cantor Goodfriend. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to sing in his AA choir when I lived in Atlanta. He was my mentor of Jewish music! And he was a "mensch" -- of the highest order. My condolences to Enoch and Perry and extended family and my heartfelt gratitude for the warmth and affection the Goodfriend family shared with me (and countless others) for so many years. If Perry should read this entry and could share an...

I met Cantor Goodfriend when I represented the buyers who bought his home on Peachtree Battle. What a gentle man. I will always cherish sharing morning coffee with he and his wife and listening to him speak of his life. I feel blessed to have met him and touched that he shared a part of his life with me.

Cantor Goodfriend was a dear, dear man with a beautiful soul.He was a man of G-D.He gave my first vocal solo when Iwas only 12.A few years later i began to study voice, and I enjoy singing today. It was Cantor Goodfriend who shared with me the joy and love of music that I still carry with me.I will always be grateful to him for sharing his gifts with me.

Isaac was one of those wonders of the world and I very much enjoyed our joint activities at AAS back in the 80s and 90s. Our world is indeed diminished with both Betty's and now his passing. Home in Israel feels right.

Cantor Goodfriend was a great man and his passing is a loss for our whole community.

What a devastating loss for the entire Jewish Community of Atlanta, GA. Cantor Goodfriend always sang from the heart & with JOY. He was the first to recognize the vocal talent of our daughter & rewarded her witha solo in the AA Synagogue's Children's Choir - that was over 30 years ago! Seems like "yesterday" - our thoughts are with his family - Leah, David, Elena, Monica
