Trish,
I heard from my sister Gail about John's passing and was sadden to hear the news. Although I didn't know him well he struck me as a man who had a lust for life and did it with gusto. The world has lost a great soul. My condolences to you and his family.

I learned from him that "the difference between an ordeal and an adventure is attitude". You've shed your mortal coil, so sail on, ride on, fly.

Capt John at the Oak Harbor Lats and atts with Bruce..
John was not only a great friend who's company I enjoyed but a mentor and advisor when it came to learning the ropes with my boat. We shared our passion for boats and hot rods.

I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. (Isaiah 61:1,2) With heartfelt sympathy.
